Questions from families

What age can my child start?

Babies can join from birth. Classes are for babies up to 12 months, toddlers from 1 to 3 years and preschool singers from 3 to 6. If your child is on the edge between two, try a class and we will suggest one.

How long is a class?

A baby class is 30 minutes. Toddler and preschool classes are 45 minutes. A series is ten weeks.

What is a class like?

A hello song, scarves and shakers, a quiet moment and a goodbye song, with grown-ups and children together on a rug.

Who comes to class with my child?

A grown-up stays on the rug for every class: a parent, a grandparent, a nanny or another caregiver. Ask us about brothers and sisters when you try a class.

Does my child need an instrument?

No. We bring scarves, shakers, bells and hand drums. At home, your voice is enough. If you would like something for home, ask your teacher before you buy.

What if my child only watches?

Children join in at their own pace. Some watch for a few weeks before they pick up a shaker, and that is fine. Sit beside them and sing.

Do the children perform?

No. A family sing-along is a gathering where everyone sings together. There is no stage and nothing to learn ahead.

What happens when we miss a class?

A missed class can be made up in another class for the same age in the same series, if there is room. Tell us ahead when you can.

How does tuition work?

Tuition depends on your child's age group and the length of the class, and our figures are on the enrollment page.

How do we leave?

Tell us a week before the next series begins to stop at the end of the one you are in.
