For grown-ups

Your part in the class

You are the most important instrument in the room.

  • Sit beside your child

Sit on the rug where your child can see and touch you. Babies are held, toddlers climb, and preschoolers move a little farther away as the series goes on.

  • Sing, even quietly

Sing along even if you think you can't. Your child is listening for your voice, not for a tune.

  • Follow your child

If your child wants to watch, let them. If they want to dance, dance with them. Both are joining in.

  • Take a song home

Each class sends home the words of one song by email. Sing it at breakfast, and see what comes back.

In the room

A teacher at the front, grown-ups on the rug

The teacher leads the songs and plays an instrument. You don't need to read music or know the words. If your child needs a break, step to the edge of the rug and join us again when you are ready.

Try a class

Bring your child, and bring anyone who looks after them. Everyone is welcome on the rug.
