Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Please keep your child at home with a fever, vomiting, a cough that keeps them from singing or a rash you are unsure about, and bring them back once they have been well for a full day. Tell us, and your class can be made up in another time.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close for Thanksgiving week, the winter break and a few holidays. We email families about a closure for weather or for smoke in the air.
Arriving and leaving
A grown-up comes to every class and stays for all of it, so there is no drop-off. Come a few minutes early so children can settle on the rug. If a different grown-up is bringing your child, such as a grandparent or a nanny, tell us ahead and we will say hello.
Arriving late
Come in quietly and join the circle: a late start is fine. If you can, tell us you are on your way so we can save you a spot. Classes end on time so the next group can come in.
Who stays in the room
A grown-up sits on the rug and joins in at every class: a parent, a grandparent, a nanny or another caregiver. Brothers and sisters are welcome in the class for their own age; ask us when you try a class. At a family sing-along, every age is welcome.
What to wear and bring
Shoes come off at the door, and children can wear socks or go barefoot on the rug. Dress them in something they can crawl, clap and roll in. We bring the scarves, shakers and drums.

A grown-up in the room
Every child comes with a grown-up who stays for the whole class, so a child is never alone with a teacher.
An open door
The door to the class room has a window or stays open.
Coming and going
A child leaves with the grown-up who brought them, or with someone you have told us about.
Illness
When your child is ill, tell us. A class can be made up in another time.
